Design Approach

Our design approach is based on simplicity. We look for what is essential and we eliminate anything that is unnecessary, confusing or distracting. While the details of projects vary, these core values serve us and our clients well.

Don't Reinvent the Wheel

We have a robust toolbox of techniques and website components at hand. Carefully selected and creatively combined, these elements allow us to produce custom websites at a competitive price.

Inspiration is Everywhere

Favorite websites, advertisements, photography and artwork are great starting points for design inspiration. iStockphoto remains one of our favorites for affordable artwork.

Relationships Matter

Communication and collaboration are key to our development process. We begin with a careful conversation about your needs and then continue to solicit feedback at key stages of the design.

Attracting the Right Crowd

We work with every customer on the very important task of attracting potential customers to their website. This involves providing advice on content, determining the ideal tags to include in the programs, setting up analytics programs to monitor traffic and much more. We will make sure that you attract the right crowd!

Making Connections

The Internet is all about connections and so is Middlesex Design. We work with graphic designers, copy writers and other specialists who are great at what they do. We assemble the best team to get the job done and you reap the benefits.

Our Story

Middlesex Design was founded in 2005 with the goal of providing custom website design on an affordable budget. Our original tagline “Realizing your vision on the web” reflected our personal commitment to our clients which continues to this day.

Beth Perkins Peterson

Beth was a manager in Information Services prior to starting Middlesex Design. Throughout her career, her mission has been to assist business people to maximize their use of technology to achieve their objectives. She listens to clients describe their goals, helps them develop a practical plan, and works on their project from inception to successful completion. Clients are impressed by her ability to suggest practical, low cost and simple approaches to achieving their website and marketing goals. Technology and the Internet are her passions and her iPhone, iPad, laptop and cameras are constant companions.

Bonnie Tincknell

Bonnie came to website design with extensive programming experience. Her sometimes obsessive persistance, a legacy of the early coding years, continues to be helpful in resolving the technical challenges of web design. Bonnie enjoys working closely with clients and the satisfaction of creating a useful and esthetic product. When not building websites, Bonnie raises chickens.
